Hi Brian, this was a very thoughtful response. Thank you. And I do agree with your points. Transitioning from urban blight to leafy paradise is probably not on the cards for most cities, and Singapore has been an exception in many things beyond just livability.

But even if other cities can't be like Singapore, maybe they can get half way there and improve things just enough to stop people from leaving.
